The Art World Workers (and Friends) Gala.
You work all day, all evening, and yes, even Saturdays, and let’s not even mention the art fairs. Working in the art world is a particular type of calling, and it is not for the faint-hearted. It’s time to let off some steam.
This is for all, and a good cause.
Whilst the glitterati might be swanning around at the Royal Academy or Serpentine Summer Party, we thought it was about time we had our own moment to elaborately dress up and have our photo taken. But first, let me get something clear, this might be an art world party, but I for one would not be here without the support of my relentlessly loyal friends, family, and therapists, so this party is also for you–you are our most honoured guests.
So why throw a gala at all? We can’t be that nice. Truth is, we are not. This is a fundraiser for our Freshers cohort’s end-of-year show. Freshers is an initiative we started with the aim of contributing to a more equitable and inclusive art world by offering time, space, and opportunities to female artists—yes, this is still an industry issue. But, back to the Gala. You can expect a night of music, creativity, and community. We have incredible DJ’s lined up (to be announced), arty surprises, and curated drinks to offer the ultimate Dark Rococo experience. A curated cash bar with signature cocktails at £9.50. Alongside beers from £5–£7 and wine from £7–£9.50 - with most of the menu comfortably under £10.

This is an 18+ event. Valid photo ID is required for entry.
Please ensure your ticket is ready on arrival. All guests will be checked against the guest list and tickets will be scanned at the door. No ticket, no entry.
For everyone’s safety and comfort, professional security will be present throughout the evening.

There is step-free access to the main event space. Please note that the upstairs area is accessible via stairs only.

Freshers is a Community Interest Company, so all proceeds from this fundraiser go directly back into the initiative and must benefit the community. This ticket covers production and venue costs, while helping fund our end-of-year show.
